After a one year pause the Annual Plant Sale returned.
The team met many times thru the spring to prepare for the sale. Our first big decision was to bring the sale back to the DPW Parking lot on Upper Main Street since construction has ended. We debated on some aspects of the sale such as a raffle and hard merchandise. We agreed the best and most important part was the plants. Despite a cool, drizzly Friday afternoon drop off at the DPW parking lot, the weather on Saturday morning cooperated nicely, sunny and warm. We had plenty of enthusiastic volunteers to help customers. Almost everything was sold. We were cleaned up by noon.
Many thanks to all our volunteers, the businesses that donated plants and plant related merchandise, the DPW for the awesome location, Rockport Police Dept for storage and security and the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce for location help. And of course our members and the public for supporting our sale.
