Grow Native Massachusetts Their 2026 native plant sale is scheduled for Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30, on the property of First Parish Church at 7 Harrington Rd in Lexington, MA. NOTE: You must register in advance to participate in their sale. Arrival times are staggered at 30 minute intervals to manage crowd flow, reduce wait times, and ease traffic in the parking lot. The registration form will be sent out in an eNews during the week of May 4, with members getting advance access, and then posted to this webpage shortly after.
Kings Tree Farm Located in Boxford MA. Open seasonally Friday-Sunday, 9-5. Specializes in native shrubs and trees, with a growing perennial selection. Plants are grown organically, without pesticides or chemicals. Visitors are welcome to explore their oasis in the woods.
Oakhaven Sanctuary --Located in North Reading, Exclusively native. Open seasonally. Check site for availability and hours. A small nursery with many species for sale, all organically grown. In addition to wildflowers, ferns, sedges and aquatic plants, they have a broad selection of woody plants. Run by a professional botanist specializing in wetlands ecology and restorations.
Salem Native Nursery - Located in Salem MA. Exclusively native. Nonprofit organization offering over 50 species of pesticide free native trees, shrubs, and perennials found in woodland and wetland habitats. Proceeds from sales support local environment projects in public spaces. Saturday sales during the summer and open by appointment year-round.
The Monarch Gardener Located in Topsfield, MA. Exclusively native. Open a few days a week seasonally, or by appointment. Check site for details. A small nursery offering 75 native species, primarily seed-grown perennials, with an emphasis on genera that are valuable host plants for caterpillars. Pot sizes range from 1 quart to 1 gallon. Cedar Rock Gardens Located in Gloucester, MA. Cedar Rock Gardens is a 13.5 acre farm that grows a large variety of vegetables and seedlings on 2.5 acres of land, utilizing crop rotation schedules and cover crops to ensure good soil practices.
